2Square Design

This british design agency needed a fast way to track progress of their projects. Ventanazul created a web application to allow 2 Square Design and its customers keep an eye on each phase of design and exchange comments.

2 Square Design is a firm that offers design services for print and web.

2SD designers and customers exchange many ideas during each project, mostly email and phone calls. Also, several mockups and design versions are created.

Michael Grinstead, founder of 2SD, asked us to create a web application to allow their designers and customers interact.

We developed an application where a customer can verify the progress of a designp project, post comments and request corrections, all this from a single point of contact.

Each customer has a user name and password and can monitor many projects in his account. The administrator can access all customers and projects as well as creating new ones.

We used object oriented PHP and a MySQL database for this web application.

Design is based on XHTML and CSS, separating structure from appearance and allowing 2DS to visually adapt the application to its web site.
