I know what you are thinking: “Oh no!, just another boring forum for bored web developers with time to waste!".

I don’t think, or intend, this to be the case with our relaunched forums, please read on, this could be for you.

More than a web agency, Ventanazul is a group of friends, we don’t just live to develop web sites for our customers, we want to create a
community, a group of people interested in a new life style, many of them working online, designing, creating content or programming, others just being witnesses of everyday changes on the net.

I know, believe me, what it feels to be so “virtualized” (is that a word?) that you start missing human contact. Unfortunately, when you go out and meet “real” people realize that there are so many things you can’t talk with them, they are just … err .. out of your world. I’m pretty sure that many of you will know what I mean.

Our forums will try to fill that space.

Of course, we will talk about Internet businesses and web development, but there is also space to discuss other issues, such as every day life, favorite books, music, art, society, even religion!, I know how funny than can be.

And this blog?, well, it’s just another space, a more personal one. Forum and blog should work together, discussions could start here or there, it doesn’t really matter. Actually, other Ventanazul members will start blogging soon. Even my daughter Beatriz !

Ok, some facts about the forums:

I have created some basic categories but the organization could be later changed based on the number of threads and topics treated.

I decided to maintain only one forum for both english and spanish speaking visitors, the default interface is english but you have the option to change your profile to see it in spanish.

You will notice I am using the simple default style from vBulletin, it’s nice and clean and … uhmm , honestly? We did not have the time to customize it yet
