School is a twelve-year jail sentence where bad habits are the only curriculum truly learned.

A very good friend of mine is living a nightmare. Christian van der Henst is the owner of Maestros del Web, a great webmasters community with a huge following in all Spanish speaking countries. Recently the maestrosdelweb.com domain was stolen (article in Spanish). This makes me wonder: how much you trust your web hosting provider or domain registrar?
Christian's problems could have been just a temporal worry if his registrar, GoDaddy, would have acted correctly and quickly.
I suggest all of you having domains at GoDaddy transfer them to a more reliable registrar as soon as possible. How can we feel safe with a registrar that causes somebody to lose all his identity and virtual properties just like that?
