Some years ago I stopped using Adobe Photoshop and started working with Gimp for my web design projects. I still use Photoshop when a client hands me his mockups as PSD files but for creating new designs I'm happy with Gimp.
I was wondering how many of you are using Gimp for web designing and if you could show us a little of your work with it.

GIMP & Inkscape
I find myself designing more on Inkscape than GIMP lately, I just like the workflow better there, and I don't know why, just gets me cleaner looks in the end.
However, I allways use GIMP for the finishing up, cutting the images out, and perhaps some final touches. GIMP user interface/workflows just dont seem to stick with me somehow. I'm not a very experienced user with it I guess.
If i can recommend a site for learning inkscape, http://screencasters.heathenx.org/ has a lot of great screencasts, VERY useful!
Gimp vs Inkscape for web designing
Hi Manuel, thanks for your comments.
I use Inkscape as well but mostly for logo design, wireframes, tweaking a few shapes and everything vector related.
Gimp is a more complete and robust application but I guess Inkscape will get there in a few more releases. Anyway, both are great applications.
